Search for sneaky spider webs. Using a spray bottle with water, spray gently and watch the web design come alive.~30 minute, Ages 2+

A kid once asked me, "What do spider homes look like?" So together we set off on an adventure to find out. We first discovered that webs are hard to see, but we observed that in the morning we found more webs. The morning dew still glistening in the sun highlighted the strings in each complex web.  So we decided to create the morning dew on our own with a spray bottle and a gentle spray of water! Can't seem to find a spray bottle? Lots of products these days come in forms that work perfect for this activity. I included a picture with items I found around my home that you might have too. Make sure you rinse out thoroughly to protect our dear friends the spiders. Once you have your spray bottle ready ask the kids, “Where do you think you might find a spider web?” Make a route or simply go out and explore and see what you find. Remember that these are an animals home so be careful as you spray and watch the webs come alive!
